On December 10, Emerging Professionals from New York City, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island will co-host a viewing party for a Webinar featuring panelists on the subject of BURNOUT. Please follow the registration link for location details, this event is free.

The World Health Organization announced this year that Burnout is included in the 11th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) as an occupational phenomenon. Symptoms of burnout include feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion; increased mental distance from one’s job or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one’s job; and reduced professional efficacy. As emerging professionals struggle to create a work/life balance burnout becomes very real. Being proactive will create more effective leaders at work, at home and in our communities.

The program aims to focus on the following topics:

  • Strategies for carving time for yourself
  • Time management skills
  • Resources for self-preservation and self-growth
  • Tools to help you recognize that you are struggling, and how to broach the topic with yourself, your peers, and importantly your firm leadership.
