On October 6 , 2025, the AIANY Emerging New York Architects Committee was pleased to host the latest TORCH University Networking Event at the Center for Architecture. This session began with an orientation about AIANY, presented by the AIANY President and Committees leaders noted below, who shared their diverse motivations and goals:

The networking portion of the program was followed by breakout group discussions, to explore different interests and events. The program was a great opportunity for emerging professionals to connect with AIANY TORCH and committee leaders.
Thank you to all who attended yesterday; we had a great outcome, with double the number of participants from the previous year. We were glad to see more students engage with AIANY, explore the community and events, and be inspired and empower their early career.
