The deadline to submit the Phase 1 proposals for seminars for the upcoming A’19 is August 1: http://conferenceonarchitecture.com/a19-call-for-proposals/
To help emerging professionals develop proposals, the Young Architects Forum (YAF) Knowledge Group has prepared several documents and templates for use and reference:
- Session Proposal Overview
- YAF Template – Easily create and edit content in this Word document and then copy and paste the text into the online submission portal.
- Top A’19 Conference Topic Ideas – A compiled list of sample topics that could be built or expanded upon. These topics are divided these into four categories that will fit within the YAF strategic goals for Practice Innovation: The Built Environment/Future Trends, Business/Firm Management, Social Justice/Community Advocacy, and Leadership Building.
The deadline to submit workshops is October 30.
Emerging New York Architects
The AIANY Emerging New York Architects Committee (ENYA) encourages leadership among emerging architects (licensed 10 years or fewer) and allied professionals in the design and construction industry. We engage NYC’s diverse young professional community with an equally diverse slate of programming that focuses on career development, design excellence, and public outreach. Committee meetings are open to the public, and are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm, both virtually and in-person at the Center for Architecture, unless otherwise noted.
