BKSK Architects announced Harpreet Dhaliwal, AIA, LEED AP, has been made a Partner at the firm.
HLW has announced a new Global Leadership Team as the firm enters its 140th year. The team includes the appointment of three new Managing Partners: Ed Shim, AIA, NCARB, Sejal Sonani, AIA, and Bennet Dunkley, AIA, RIBA. Joining them are John Mack, AIA, FIIDA, Senior Partner, as well as Cristen Colantoni and Bronte Turner, who have both been elevated to Senior Principal, and Patrick Kinzler, Managing Principal.
Mark Strauss, Senior Principal Emeritus at FXCollaborative and past President of AIA New York, has announced a new position as Adjunct Professor at Hunter College Master of Urban Policy and Planning.
Hart Howerton has announced the firm’s new leadership appointments for 2025. James Neville, ASLA, and Todd Pace, ASLA, have been promoted to Principal. Jessica Sager, AIA, has been promoted to Associate Principal, and Chris Apicella, AIA, has been appointed Technical Director. Additionally, Jessica Elliot, AIA, Ha Min Joo, AIA, Kathryn Paddock, AIACP, and Benjamin Sirota, AIA have been promoted to Senior Associate.
RKTB Architects Partner Alex Brito, AIA, has joined the Board of Citizens Housing & Planning Council in New York.

The Organizers of the U.S. Pavilion at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia have announced the selection of 52 projects to feature in PORCH: An Architecture of Generosity. Chosen through a nationwide Open Call for Participation, the finalists reflect diverse contributions from architects, landscape architects, designers, artists, nonprofits, and individuals from across the U.S. and its territories. Selected New York City firms include Jerome Haferd Studio, Marpillero Pollak Architects, Pei Cobb Freed/Moody Nolan/Hood Design Studio, SO – IL, Studio Cadena, Studio Gang, Studio James Carpenter / JCDA Inc.
