In Memoriam
With sadness, we report the passing of Marvin Mass, Hon. AIA, on August 25, 2026. Mass was a prestigious engineer that worked with architects known across the globe including Louis Kahn, Mies van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen, Harry Weese, Marcel Breuer, Michael Graves, IM Pei, Philip Johnson, Santiago Calatrava, Frank Gehry, and countless others.

Sharon Price, CEO of Grace Farms, and Avinash Rajagopal, Editor in Chief of METROPOLIS, will be honored by the Consortium for Sustainable Urbanization (CSU) Annual Gala.
Steven Holl, FAIA, has been named a recipient of the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design 2026 professional medal, recognizing architects for their contributions to design, with consideration given to energy conservation, environmental quality, and diversity.
