The Grand Louvre – Phase I by I.M. Pei, FAIA, and his firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, has been selected for the 2017 AIA Twenty-Five Year Award, conferred on a building project that has stood the test of time by embodying architectural excellence for 25 to 35 years.

AIA and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture named Robert A.M. Stern, FAIA, of Robert A.M. Stern Architects, the winner of the 2017 AIA Topaz Medallion for Excellence in Architecture Education, the highest honor given to educators in architecture.

Ceren Bingol, most recently a Senior Architect at OMA New York, has been named Interim Architect-in-Residence and Head of the Architecture Department at the Cranbrook Academy of Art.

Chuck Siconolfi, AIA, LEED AP, has joined Perkins+Will as Principal.
