New Hires and Promotions

The Design Industries Foundation (DIFFA) has announced the appointment of renowned architect and designer Lauren Rottet, FAIA, FIIDA, and seasoned workplace design executive Lee Cannon to its National Board of Trustees.

Hoffmann Architects + Engineers announces the promotion of Robert G. Delagrange to Director, Business Development. Previously Senior Business Development Manager for the Connecticut office, Delagrange will now oversee business growth and client relationships firm-wide, across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions and beyond.

 

Honors and Awards

Mark Ginsberg, FAIA, LEED AP, Founding Partner of Curtis + Ginsberg Architects, received the AIA New York State Excelsior & Professional Service Award, which recognizes private-sector AIA members for contributing significantly to New York State’s public architecture. Ginsberg accepted the award at a ceremony in Albany on May 6.

Foster + Partners has announced the promotion of Thomas Tumelty RA, AIA, NCARB, CSI, to Partner.

Architect’s Newspaper has announced its 2026 Best of Practice Awards—among those awarded are Arup, Dattner Architects, and Studio Gang.

Hoffmann Architects + Engineers has announced that John J. Hoffmann, FAIA, was awarded the 2026 Tau Sigma Delta architecture medal from the University of Hartford. Members of the university’s Gamma Nu chapter of the national honor society chose Hoffmann as this year’s honoree in recognition of his outstanding design work and years of service to the profession and industry.
