01.17.08: Neither rain nor sleet nor snow kept about 500 people away from the 55th Annual P/A Awards celebration hosted by Architect magazine at the Center for Architecture. New York was well represented among the eight winners, including SHoP Architects (East River Waterfront Esplanade and Piers Project); Weiss/Manfredi (Barnard College Nexus); Skidmore, Owings & Merrill/SOM (Al Sharq Tower, Dubai); and Stan Allen Architect (Taichung Gateway Park, Taiwan).
