05.14.14: The 2015 AIA convention in Atlanta opened with a keynote speech by former President Bill Clinton. “There is no question in ways large and small, those of you who are designing the built environment are going to have a big impact,” he said, and called on architects to take advantage of “low-lying fruit” – such as former NYC Mayor Bloomberg’s Cool Roof initiative.
