09.19.13: Lionel Devlieger and Maarten Gielen of Brussels-based ROTOR were the curators of the “Behind the Green Door” exhibition, a highlight of the Oslo Architecture Triennale, which opened 09.19.13. For the Triennale's main exhibition, Rotor looked at architecture that calls itself sustainable, collecting 625 objects from more than 200 offices, companies and exhibitions. Visitors are invited to the exhibition at DogA, the Norwegian Center for Architecture. The show remains open until 12.01.13. Devlieger said that the objects were "a series of helping hands, ideas that people can take away – an unraveling on a series of topics that anyone can have an opinion about, such as what is a passive house.” Among the projects shown are the Green Lighthouse in Copenhagen by Christensen + co. Architects, a residential structure by Widmer & Bernath from Zurich, and the ENDESA Pavillion by MaRGeN-Lav with IaaC and Endesa.Credit: Rick Bell, FAIA
