Marketing and Communications

The AIANY Marketing and Communications Committee leads the ongoing discussion of strategic business and marketing-related issues for our constituents: architects, their firms, and staffs. The committee’s four major goals are: To create forums for architects to discuss and share ideas about issues in marketing and media relations today; to provide and encourage opportunities for training and development; to be a resource for the exchange of strategic marketing information within the architecture community; and to develop a dialogue about how the profession represents itself.

Cultivating a Professional Connection

During our next MaCC meeting on Sept 12 we’ll share some insight into Business Development approaches within the A/E/C industry.

We’ll be joined by Yeng Wu of Ennead to unpack strategy and lessons learned for connecting professionally. Conversation topics include dividing your time vs. concentrating effort; tools and resources; etiquette and changing modes of communication; and setting expectations. Come with questions!
