AIA New York is seeking co-chair applications for the AIANY Building Science Committee.
The Building Science Committee aims to create a multi-disciplinary sharing and learning platform for the building industry, academia, and the public to advance the understanding of the physical behavior of the building as a system. This committee serves as a community to promote the application of building science to achieve high-performance and resilient design and construction that responds to the current and future needs of a sustainable and healthy built environment.
Preferred candidates will have shown strong involvement with the committee, a commitment to the committee’s goals, a clear vision for the future of the committee, and good communication and management skills.
All applications must include a 250-word maximum letter of interest and CV sent tojcorbin@aiany.orgwith the subject line, “AIANY Building Science Committee Co-Chair Application” by August 16, 2023.
