AIA New York’s Global Dialogues Committee is committed to the international exchange of knowledge and expertise on a wide variety of topics concerning architecture, urban design, and city planning. Our members are professionals, both firm representatives and individuals, with an international interest in global architecture trends, who spearhead programs that reinforce the committee’s mission. They share a willingness to take an active part in the committee’s activities and to serve others.
The AIANY Marketing and Communications Committee leads ongoing discussions on strategic business and marketing-related issues for our constituents: architects, their firms, and staffs. The committee’s four major goals are to create forums for architects to discuss ideas marketing and media relations, to provide opportunities for training and development, to serve as resource for the exchange of strategic marketing information for architects; and to develop dialogues about how the profession represents itself. Standing committee meetings take place at 6:30 PM on the second Thursday of each month at the Center for Architecture.
AIA members interested in serving as co-chair can apply by sending a copy of their CV and a 250-word cover letter outlining their interest in the committee, why they feel suited to lead it, and in what direction they hope to take it, to Joseph Corbin, email@example.com.
