On behalf of AIA San Francisco and the Equity by Design Committee, we are pleased to announce the launch of the third national Equity in Architecture Survey. This project builds upon previous surveys conducted in 2014 and 2016, which have helped to shape a national movement that aims to promote sustainable and satisfying careers in architecture for all practitioners. This year’s research will examine the differential experiences of professionals based on gender, race, ethnicity, and sexuality.
We invite you to take the Equity in Architecture Survey 2018.
The online survey will remain open for five weeks starting February 12th and ending March 16th. On average, the survey should take 20-25 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept confidential. Survey findings will be first revealed at Equity by Design’s fifth Symposium on November 3rd, 2018 in San Francisco.
Please note that you may receive similar invitations to take the survey based on your other professional memberships or alumni affiliations. We ask that you only take the survey once. Thank you for your understanding about the potential for multiple notifications as we seek to reach a broad group while maintaining the survey’s statistical validity.
