AIA New York State will hold a special election for a New York State Associate Member to serve on the AIA National Associates Committee (AIA NAC), which is dedicated to representing and advocating for AIA’s associate members in AIA’s national, state and local chapters. This election is a one-year term to fill the second year of an unexpired two-year term.
The New York State Member serving on the National Associates Committee is required to attend meetings as determined by AIA NAC and to participate in projects organized by the AIA New York State VP of Emerging Professionals.
We encourage interested Associate members of AIA New York to seek nomination by sending a letter of interest to Suzanne Mecs, Managing Director, at smecs@aiany.org. Associate members of other chapters should contact their Chapter leadership. Nominations are due by December 8, 2023.
