10.16.14: During a Building of the Day tour of Garrison Architects’ Post-Disaster Urban Interim Housing, James McConnell, Office of Emergency Management Assistant Commissioner for Strategic Data, presented the history of OEM’s temporary emergency housing project.

10.22.14: Archtober Building of the Day tour leader and head of the Jacob K. Javits Center’s extensive overhaul Bruce Fowle, FAIA, LEED AP, discussed FXFOWLE’s challenges in transforming the convention center into a modern-day Crystal Palace.
