NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC) recently released three Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) for design and engineering firms seeking to participate in the next Design and Construction Excellence Program. Earlier this year on April 21, AIANY joined forces with DDC to host a program at the Center for Architecture, Design Contract Opportunities at DDC: Working Together to Design & Build Better, celebrating 20 years of DDC’s Design Excellence program and previewing the forthcoming RFQs. The three RFQs recently issued were for architectural design, technical design, and engineering design services. DDC expects to announce shortlisted firms and distributing RFPs to them in December. Statements of Qualifications in response to an RFQ are due by noon on the following days:
