When disaster strikes a community, architects and other building professionals can provide an important service by determining whether the buildings damaged by a storm or earthquake are safe for habitation. As the first step to be qualified to provide this vital function in times of need, architects and other building professionals can take the AIA Safety Assessment Program (SAP) Training.
