As a result of the resounding success of AIA New York’s A’18 Day of Service, we are gearing up for another round of community service events led by architects in the Spring of 2019. Planned to take place on Saturday, May 18, we are currently looking for the following:

  • AIA member architecture firms to plan and lead a project
  • Non-profit organizations in need of architect support for small-scale improvement projects (which do not involve DOB filing or extensive preliminary work)
  • Sponsors and vendors to supply material donations and/or construction, painting, or installation expertise and guidance
  • Volunteers to assist with the projects on May 18, 2019

Our target is to work with firms and organizations to coordinate multiple projects within NYC, which can be completed in one day with help from approximately 10-20 volunteers. If you are interested in participating in any of the capacities listed above, please contact Kavitha Mathew, kmathew@aiany.org
