AIANY Program Committees are the foundations from which the chapter positions itself in the field of architecture, whether through discussion, advocacy, policy making and development, or other endeavors. Committees initiate the majority of the chapter’s programs and are the main avenue for direct involvement with AIA New York. Preferred co-chair candidates will have shown strong involvement with the committee, a commitment to the committee’s goals, a clear vision for the future of the committee, and good communication and management skills. Co-chairs must be or become members of AIA New York.
The AIANY Science and Research Facilities Committee acts as a forum for discussion of and advocacy for science and research facilities in the New York Metro area. This committee typically meets on the second Tuesday of the month at the Center for Architecture. Applications must include a 250-word maximum letter of interest and CV sent to [email protected] with the subject line, “CORA Committee Co-Chair Application.”
Deadline: Friday, May 1, 2026.
