Synopsis:
Alice M. Greenwald, Director of the National September 11 Memorial Museum explored what it means to build a museum of memory through an overview of the planned museum. Her presentation was followed by a panel discussion on the program, architecture, and preservation of historic assets that are at the heart of the design and planning for the museum under construction at the World Trade Center. The discussion, moderated by Lance Jay Brown, FAIA, included Alice Greenwald; Mark Wagner, AIA, Senior Associate at Davis Brody Bond Aedas; and Michael Shulan, Creative Director for the museum.
