
Competition Info
Purpose
The Residential Review was created by the AIANY Interiors Committee to showcase New York City-based architects who are designing outstanding residential spaces. The showcase, consisting of large-format posters, will be displayed in the windows of Poltrona Frau’s showroom at 181 Madison Avenue.
Eligibility
The architect or firm must be based in New York City and be a member of the AIA. Projects can be located anywhere in the world, and architects may enter more than one project for consideration. Submitted projects must be residential and have been completed within the last five years. At least one representative from the firm must be able to attend the reception.
Residential projects such as apartments, townhouses, freestanding houses, and interior spaces of residential developments may be submitted for consideration.
There is a $50 fee for per entry.
Subsequent entries from the same architect/firm will be discounted to $25 per additional entry.
Submissions
Architects of the selected projects will be responsible for submitting one completed file using the provided template. Please find the display board template here.
Please use the provided template for your submission. Both .PDF and .INDD formats have been provided and must be submitted. All required information must be completed.
Photos of the completed project are required. Inclusion of plans, sketches, and models that convey the design intent are strongly recommended. These may be laid out as desired in the indicated area.
