AIA New York is seeking co-chair applications for its Cultural Facilities Committee.
The Cultural Facilities Committee is a forum for people interested in cultural spaces and how they shape our environment. Through a variety of programming, the committee examines ideas related to the design and planning of cultural buildings, as well as their impact on the communities they serve. The committee seeks to enrich the perspectives of design practitioners, foster understanding with professionals working in cultural facilities, and demystify the development process for the public.
Preferred candidates will have shown past and strong involvement with the committee, a commitment to the committee’s goals, a clear vision for the future of the committee, and good communication and management skills. All applications must include a 250-word maximum letter of interest and CV sent to jcorbin@aiany.org with the subject line, “AIANY Cultural Facilities Co-Chair Application.” Apply by June 1, 5:00 PM.
