The safety and well-being of our members, visitors, and staff are our top priorities during all Center for Architecture events and programs. Our events will comply with all local and New York State guidelines for in-person, indoor gatherings.
COVID-19 vaccinations and face masks are strongly encouraged for all visitors and guests.
If you or anyone in your household is feeling ill or has a known exposure to COVID-19 in the last 10 days, we invite you to reschedule your visit.
K-12 Programs
Youth & Family Programs: If you or your child have been exposed to COVID-19, please test to ensure you are not infected before attending your program. Registrants who are positive for COVID-19 may not attend their program until they can provide a negative COVID-19 test or have completed the CDC-recommended isolation period. Families of children enrolled in multi-session programs should notify the Center for Architecture at k12education@centerforarchitecture.org immediately if their child tests positive. Refunds are not issued for sessions missed due to student illness, including COVID-19.
Additional Safety Measures
The following measures reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure to you, other visitors, and our staff:
- High-touch areas are cleaned throughout the day. Visitors will find several hand-sanitizing stations placed throughout the Center for Architecture.
- Restrooms are single-use and regularly sanitized throughout the day.
- All HVAC filters have been upgraded to MERV-13, and other HVAC system upgrades have increased the percentage of fresh air entering the space throughout the day. Portable DFS air quality systems have been incorporated in spaces throughout the Center for Architecture, which contribute to a reduction of airborne viral load.
