Firstenberg
is the Assistant Director and Curator for the MAK Center
for Art and Architecture, L.A. at the Schindler House.
She was the curator of Artists Space 2001-2003. She
has produced exhibitions and collaborated with Zaha
Hadid, Neil Denari, Didier Fiuza Faustino, Atelier Morales,
Kendall Buster, LEFT, Ante Liu, and Superstudio. She
is a Ph.D. candidate in the History of Art and Architecture
Department at Harvard University and is a contributor
to various publications including Art Journal, Tema
Celeste, Parkett, Flash Art, Nka and Camera Austria.
She is based in Los Angeles working as an independent
curator and critic.
