I was inspired by the image of Queensboro Bridge in reference to the building site. The project tries to show that architecture is basically an optimistic and poetic constructive act, wanting to exceed the condition of nature and being detached from gravity. The first approach to the site revealed its history and the need not the touch the ruins, but to protect them. The ruins needed to be sheltered from bad weather, relieving them of the weight of time and history, and giving a new direction and a new horizon.

Gabrion regularly participates in design competitions, recently achieving recognition in three international contests.
