Southpoint is an oasis of empty space and robust landscape within NYC. Nefs' proposal takes advantage of these qualities while concentrating the major programmatic needs of the Universal Arts Center in an intervention of a compact complex around the Smallpox hospital. This structure surrounds and supports the facades.

Nefs is currently working as architect with Andrade Morettin associated architects in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
