A Conference on the Future of Sustainable Buildings in Northern ManhattanThursday, 10/25/2007, 8:00am–12:30pm Build It Green! is an important conference aimed at bringing healthy
construction, maintenance, and retrofitting practices
to the neighborhoods of Northern Manhattan. This
conference, will provide participants with practical
information on financing green building projects,
implementing non-hazardous cleaning and pest
management strategies, retrofitting existing buildings
to create greener, healthier environments, and the nuts
and bolts of creating green roofs. Amanda Burden,
Director of the Department of City Planning, will be
our keynote speaker and a range of experts will lead
informative discussions on each of these topics.
A Product and Manufacturer Expo will run through the duration of the conference.
