In conjunction with the AIA Academy for Architecture and Justice’s Sustainable Excellence: Sixth International Conference on Courthouse Design occurring September 26 - 28 in Brooklyn, the AIA New York Chapter Committee for Architecture and Justice (CAJ) will open an exhibition "New York City Courthouses: A Recent Decade" on Friday evening, 28 September at the Center for Architecture.
The exhibition and cocktail reception that evening will honor conference participants while demonstrating the wide variety of notable court projects realized in the New York City over the last ten years.

Celebrate the launch of Manhattan ArtNOW a map of art in the public realm. Measuring 90" x 18", the map took three years to compile. It documents over 1500 artworks in public spaces and artworks commissioned by public entities. Also listed are art museums, art collections, non profit galleries, and art spaces. This is the most comprehensive survey of New York City public art to date.
