Design-In Marathon
Tuesday, October 5, 2004, 9:00 am - 10:00 pm

The Center for Architecture invites architects, planners, engineers, interior designers, environmental and industrial designers, artists, landscape architects, urban designers, historic preservationists, developers, public agencies, contractors, subcontractors and manufacturers to participate in a daylong program on October 5, illuminating interdisciplinary work. In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the Center's opening, the 2004 Design-In Marathon will explore the intersection of three themes related to Collaboration:

1. "Collaboration in Practice"
2. "Collaboration in Design"
3. "Collaboration in the Arts"

Collaboration is an integral part of practice and creativity. Architecture, design, construction and real estate professionals form multi-disciplinary teams to tackle large and intricate problems, or to explore theoretical avenue of designs and implementation. How do we form the appropriate teams and take on these larger projects and ideas?
